Studies show us that over half of marriages will end in divorce and of those that stay married, three quarters are not happy. Did God miss it when He created the covenant of marriage, leaving us to be set up for heartache and emptiness? Absolutely not! In fact marriage isn’t even meant to be good, it’s meant to be great. After all, it is the earthly shadow and type used to describe the relationship we are to have with God. Some Personal Thoughts

Tonight I get ordained as a minister with the Assemblies of God.

It’s crazy to look back on the journey up until now.  I personally accepted the call of God on my life to pastor when I was in tenth grade and immediately started to lead in any way possible.  My first church was on my secular school campus, where I was the president of our small, early morning Bible club that exploded over the next few years.  I never imagined the journey would have panned out the way it has.  Yet at every step I still see how God’s grace and mercy guided me through.

What’s that mean? If your a feminist, you read into that statement that you aren’t only as valuable as something pretty or like a trophy, and now you’re on edge. If you are an over bearing man, you read it as you are the stuff with some bling on your head that you can do with what you want. Both are wrong!

Inevitable, something’s always in the way–human behavior. Any human’s behavior is precipitated by all their past teachings and experiences. There are more factors than anyone could ever measure that make up just one individual’s behavior, let alone a group. So how do you move human behavior?
