The Godwin Family
Jeremy and Faith were married in December of 2001 after dating for more than three years. They were high school sweethearts who were committed to having a holy dating relationship in preparation for a Godly marriage. Shortly after their union they found themselves pregnant with their first child and began the exciting journey of preparing for children. Towards the end of 2002, both Jeremy and Faith felt the Lord was releasing them to pursue full time youth ministry and in April of 2003 they began their first pastorate the same weekend their first son, Elliott, was born.
Over the next five years Jeremy was involved in multiple different avenues along with youth ministry starting with a position in the secular work field as a customer service and account rep for the entire east coast with a large cabinet company, church custodian, and illustrative productions pastor. During his tenure at Lomax A/G, Jeremy was given multiple opportunities for mentorship in senior pastoral duties as well as all other church departments.
In February of 2007 the Godwin family expanded once again with twin boys, Micah and Brennan, which brought an entirely new dynamic to the passionate and focused family. Then in January of 2008, Jeremy and Faith felt the Holy Spirit leading them to take a huge step of faith by stepping down from a successful and growing youth ministry, not knowing what was next. As He always does, God showed His faithfulness by opening a door at the right time in Adrian, MI were they then moved in the summer of 2008.
Over the past seven years of ministry and marriage they have walked through many different things as a couple and as individuals which has left them with more knowledge, gifting, and resources than most people at their young and passionate age. Faith’s gifting in compassion ministries, encouragement, and support is unprecedented as she also is in constant pursuit of being what she considers to be a balanced wife and mother based out of Proverbs 31. She has a God given passion for young mothers, family ministries, and discipleship. She is an excellent teacher, gifted singer, and highly creative woman who actively functions under many of the Gifts of the Spirit. Jeremy’s strongest gifting is considered to be his leadership as well as communication. He has always been a strong people person who enjoys developing other leaders, creating teams, implementing vision, and finding new creative ways of presenting the Gospel. Jeremy has led worship vocally on and off for nearly ten years, when needed, and also plays the guitar and piano.
When Jeremy and Faith are not doing ministry together they enjoy any and all things outdoors together and with their three young sons. Jeremy enjoys golf, sand-volleyball, and going to the gym while Faith enjoys shopping, golf, and traveling.
Together they make a fun and dynamic team!
